Anu started her public relations career in Bangalore (India’s Silicon Valley) 17 years ago, following which she moved to Dubai and set-up her own public relations agency – Watermelon PR. Watermelon PR grew to become one of the strongest local independent public relations agency in Dubai, UAE. After her move to Singapore, she spent a few years as a freelance writer contributing to The Asian Parent, The Huffington Post and several corporates. In 2016, she joined the then newly set-up public relations agency in Singapore as a Director.
At the Singapore agency, Anu’s client portfolio comprised of start-ups and new age companies across industries like fintech, med-tech, health-tech and venture capital firms. She played a key role in building the agency’s presence in markets like India, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia. She believes that her greatest strength is her deep understanding of the industry, media landscape across the region and working models that start-ups actively look for in their partners.
At Asia PR Werkz she leads the team that work closely with fintech, start-up and technology clients and strategizes and executes communication campaigns for new age companies and start-ups across the region.
